Cancellation of Jockey Club “United We Play!” Cultural Inclusion Musical “Go Lion! Goal!” (3-5 September 2021)

The Auditorium of Tsuen Wan Town Hall has been closed for urgent repair works. Jockey Club “United We Play!” Cultural Inclusion Musical “Go Lion! Goal!” (3-5 September 2021) will be cancelled.

For those wishing to refund their tickets, please follow the instructions below. We kindly request your patience as we process a large volume of ticket refund requests. Thank you for your understanding.


Refund Information

1. If your ticket(s) was issued from URBTIX (applies for both Credit Card or Cash payments)
Please download the Refund Form for “Go Lion! Goal!” (pdf format), and submit the completed form with all tickets according to the written instructions on or before 27 September 2021.

2. If you have reserved tickets through our Internal Order Form, please complete this Ticket Refund Google Form on or before 27 September 2021.

3. If you have purchased tickets via Timable, the ticket cost will be refunded to the credit card that was used for the original payment. Refund will be processed automatically; you are not required to fill in a refund form.

Upon receipt of the complete and accurate refund information and a photocopy of the ticket(s), the ticket amount will be refunded to you on or before 30 October 2021.

  • Assisting the manager in planning and execution of the art education project;
  • Coordinating with school teachers and tutors regarding workshops and performances;
  • Managing the data and records of the programmes;
  • Assisting in the execution of marketing activities and the production of publicity materials;
  • Assisting in producing the annual musical production

Requirements

  • Permanent Hong Kong resident;
  • Tertiary education preferably knowledge in performing arts, arts management, arts education or equivalent;
  • Good command of both written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese;
  • Proficiency in PC skills, English and Chinese word processing;
  • Willing to work on weekends, holidays and overtime if necessary;
  • Proactive, self-motivated, detail-minded and committed;
  • Relevant experience in arts administration, arts education or accounting is preferred

To complement the three-year anniversary of the “Bruce Lee:Kung Fu‧Art‧Life” Exhibition and in memory of Bruce Lee, the international martial arts superstar who passed away 43 years ago, Hong Kong Heritage Museum has organised the Sai Fung 1959 – Exhibition x Drama Multi-arts Programme Series. With the exhibition content as the base, Bruce Lee’s teenage life in Hong Kong will be portrayed in theatre. The programme series consists of 20 sessions of Sai Fung 1959 musical performances staged in the museum theatre, presented in an hour-long musical about the day before Bruce Lee’s departure to America. The programme series includes 14 site-specific performances in the exhibition gallery and one sharing session hosted by Mr. Stephen Au, the playwright of the original musical.

Running time is about 60 minutes without intermission. Latecomers will not be admitted until a suitable break in the programme.

No audience seating is available. Audience need to follow actor inside theatre and stage.

Audience should be aware of entering gloomy, confined space and stairs in back stage. Comfortable shoes are recommended.
